I am heading to Tansky Main near JR tomorrow, Sunday.

Never been there, if you want to lead a dirt noob, that will be great. Leaving sooke Chevron by 11:30, will check forum before leaving in the morning.

We're heading the other direction, but not sure if I'd recommend Tansky for a noob. The trails are well-made but going to be difficult. call jason, he claims he's riding today.

I saw you guys at the Spencer Shell, would have said hi but was inside, and you were driving away when I came out, you talked to my buddy and brother though asking where we were going.  We went to Tansky, how was Mill Bay?

We didn't stop at Spencer Shell, but maybe someone we were with did. Mill Bay was great, except Steph's bike broke on the first trail, so she was out for the day.

How's Tansky right now? Still really muddy or has it dried up a little?

hmm green Van, figured you were in it. 

Tansky is not bad right now, just stay off the quad trails cause they're chewed up from the 4 wheelers, muddy with every root exposed, if you stick to the singletrack the trails are in decent shape.  Theres a big patch of new stuff cut in more up the main on the left.  Super cool stuff, we stumbled upon it right after it was cut and were basically the fist ones to ride it, there wasnt even any chew lines yet.  Fully packed man made berms, and little kickers along the way.  Good times, Tansky is always worth the drive, and I say that comin outta Sidney!
