Adventure rider and movie celebrity, Charley Boorman comes to Duncan
Don Hatton is very excited to announce, that movie and television celebrity, fellow Dakar Racer and Motorcycle Adventurer Charley Boorman will be our guest July 24th 2011.
Charley is a best selling author and the star of the Movies:’ RACE TO DAKAR’, ‘LONG WAY ROUND’, ‘LONG WAY DOWN”. Charley is also the star of the adventure travel series and top selling book “BY ANY MEANS” still on the top seller list in the UK.
Charley’s current project is ‘EXTREME FRONTIERS CANADA”. He is traveling across Canada from coast to coast filming a documentary on various activities from as lobster fishing in the East Coast, participating in RCMP training in Regina to surfing on the West Coast.
Charley will be visiting Duncan on July 24th 2011. Returning from a days trail riding with Don Hatton, three time Dakar participant and Baja 1000 motorcycle racer, he and Charley are scheduled to stop at Kickstart Coffee next to Duncan Motorsports (1063 Canada Ave, Duncan BC) for a quick coffee and meet and greet at about 4:30 p.m.
Then it will be on to Don’s farm where we will host an informal bonfire evening between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m., where Charley will spend the evening talking about his adventures. This is a great opportunity to meet and talk to Charley and his film crew !!
