Although many riders choose Harley Davidson, there is no requirement to own a specific brand of motorcycle in the VICR. (In fact, it would be great to see ALL types of bikes out there for this Poker Run!) The goal of the Vancouver Island Charity Riders is to continually raise money for local and individual charities with the prime focus being on children in need.

This is accomplished by hosting fund raising motorcycle related events such as the VICR Valentines Dance, the VICR Poker Run held each spring and the VICR Monster Bash at the end of October.

100% of money raised is donated to specific local charities and funds raised are not used to support the VICR.  The VICR is self-sufficient thanks to the support of the members and yearly membership dues.
