Duncan's Don Hatton set for Rallye International de Tunisie (May 1-7, Tunisia)

Don Hatton, one of Canada’s premier motorcycle competitors has confirmed he has entered the next two FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship events.

Don will be competing in Tunisia in the Rallye International de Tunisie May 1 to May 7. He will be riding for Team Desert Rose, the same team that supported Don in the 2010 Dakar Race in Argentina, and owned by famous British motorcycle racer and the first British female Dakar finisher Patsy Quick. He will be riding his KTM 690 Rally bike, the same bike he rode in the Dakar race.

Don is also entered in the Sardegna Rally Race in Italy May 27 to June 1, 2010. In this rally he will be riding for the race team owned by World Champion Cyril Dupres aboard one of Cyril’s race prepared KTM 450 bikes. “I am really excited to be racing with Cyril.” Don says.

“Organizers are claiming that there is about 65% sand riding” Don comments on the Tunisia rally.  “It should be tough but I am looking forward to getting back racing aboard the KTM”.
