Want to make a difference? July 2nd is the day!
Canadian Blood Services needs your help!
Have you or a family member ever needed blood?
If you're like most Canadians, chances are, your answer is YES! because over 52% of Canadians will need blood at some point, due to an illness, accident, or some other medical procedure. There is an immediate need for blood.
A member of VIBikers here, who has donated blood many times in the past, is challenging other riders to step up and donate alongside him on July 2nd, 2011.
Will you give it a shot? If you're up for the challenge, please contact us to reserve your spot!
Did you know -- In the case of cancer treatments, one patient could need 8 units of blood in a week. Add in accidents, transplants, other surgeries and you can imagine the need for blood donations!
Of course, donations to Canadian Blood Services are always welcome, but there is already a block of appointments booked for riders willing to donate on July 2nd so please contact us to reserve your spot with your fellow riders.
How to sign up --
You can e-mail us at VIBikers using this Contact Form or if you're registered on the VIBikers forum you can send a PM to "kenjh" to let us know that you're willing to donate on July 2nd.
